Through a whole-school model, we instill a future-forward mindset in NYC public school students to support them to propel their college and career futures. We believe all students deserve access to robust opportunities that set them up for success, and that by addressing racial justice, educational disparities, and climate justice, we can achieve the strongest impact.
From Friends of WHEELS to Futures Ignite
Our name has changed to reflect the expansion of our mission and work: we’re committed to supercharging student opportunities and ensuring BIPOC students in New York City have access to abundant resources and personalized counseling throughout high school and beyond. Our relationship to the school that founded our organization remains strong, and drives us to enhance our impact at WHEELS as we prepare to expand to other NYC public high schools in the coming years.
